Ms. Carter has a school project of her own and what better way to recruit help - OFFER PLT!!  Some of the 2nd year students offered to stay and lend Ms. Carter a hand with her Safe Kids Project and earn a little PLT on the side - VERY CLEVER!!  Rad Techs helping out in the community - that's what we are all about.

Advisory Committee Meeting

March 13, 2012

The 2012 Advisory Committee was a huge success and Ms. Sanders did a fabulous job getting everything together.  The meeting was very informative and everyone learned a lot about the possibility of Chattanooga State offering a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology.  This is a very exciting possibility and we all have our fingers crossed that this will happen in the near future.

Previous graduate, Amie Ridge is just awesome!!! She is shown below in 2000 and just recently in 2012 with "Elvira" or "Annie" - the name just depends on what years you went through the program.  She was trying to re-create her famous "shot" from when she was a student - I would call it a success!!!  Love ya Amie ;-)

Colon Cancer Walk

In support of Meredith Haskew and her family and in honor of her dad, Bill Haskew,  we attended the Colon Cancer Fundraising event at Coolidge park.  It was a great day to get out and show our support for BILL'S BEACH BUMS!!!  Meredith H.  did a great job getting everything together and we were proud to show our support.

UV Radiation Lab

Seniors are on a roll this semester in Radiation Biology.  Lab #2:  Effects of Solar UV Radiation.  Everyone worked well together and worked hard to get the job done.  There is some SERIOUS LEARNING going on at ChSCC!!!!
